We had dinner there this past August.
We shared the
Arancini - fried saffron risotto balls filled with mozzarella and meat ragu - They were "meh"..dry, not a ton of flavor, could have used a lot more of the yummy red sauce they were served on.
DH had the
Quattro Stagioni - eggplant, artichokes, prosciutto, mushrooms. He loved it - thought the ingredients were very fresh and high quality. Very thin crust, not a ton of cheese. He enjoyed it.
I had
Tortino di Melanzane - eggplant - traditional preparation with tomato sauce, parmesan and mozzarella, served with spaghetti torta. The eggplant was fantastic. Really yummy, velvety texture to the eggplant - no heavy breading - lots of fresh basil and mozzarella. The pasta, well was a little odd. It was served like a pasta pie - not a ton of flavor and very dry.
Kids LOVED their meals - the salad with the lemon dressing was a huge hit with our kiddos - they both enjoyed their pasta and pizza.
For dessert we shared:
Tiramisu - Mascarpone cream, espresso coffee, lady fingers, and chocolate - HEAVENLY. and
Zeppole di Ricotta - Ricotta cheese fritters, served with whipped cream and chocolate sauce - which we didn't love at all - very heavy with an odd aftertaste.
We would definately go back there again - but I would order something different.
