Tell me about Vero's 1 bdr Villas

I was just able to change our OVIR to a 1 bedroom for late May . I wasn't really sure if any 1 bedrooms would still be available since it is only 6 months away but there was. This will be our first time staying at Vero - anyone one have any tips, pictures or other info they want to share???? There doesn't seem to be a whole lot of info about this resort (when compared with all of Disney's other resorts)?

I do have a couple of questions that maybe someone here can answer. Are there any 1 bedroom villas in the main building?? What kind of room requests should I have or does it even really matter??

The 1BRV's aren't located in the main building. The resort is small so there really isn't long walk to anything there. I think that the rooms are comparable in size to OKW. Be certain to bring bug spray, noseeums may eat you alive!

We stayed in a 1 bedroom at Vero this past June and loved it! The 1 bedroom villas are not in the main building, the main building just has inn rooms and the villa rooms are in the surrounding buildings. When I made our reservation the only request I made was for a upper floor. I will look through my stuff from our trip in June to find the exact room number if you would like because according to DH we had the best view from our room that we have ever had at a "hotel". We were in the building that is right next to the pool area (I think building #14) and we were on the third floor with a great view of the ocean beyond the beach cottage right across from us! In fact DH loved the view so much he has one of the pictures I took set as our wallpaper on our computer! I really liked the 1 bedroom, it is nice and roomy and I liked that there is a door from both the living room area and the bedroom onto the balcony! I also love having the washer and dryer right in the unit! I'll see if I can pull up some pictures and post them. If you have any other specific questions post and I'll do my best to answer them!

Thanks for those pics! They are great.. We are SOOOOOOO excited to be going to Vero for the first time in late June. My DS can't wait for the boogie board...

Are there good offsite restaurants close by?? Or should we plan to eat all meals at VB? We do have a car..
