Tell Me About Uber

I'm a small town girl and recently had someone explain Uber to me. Also, I've had several disers recommend using Uber to get around WDW. I've loaded the app, "played" with it, and have a beginners understanding of it.

Any tips or advice when using the Uber app would be greatly appreciated.
