Tell me about Tony's Town Square

We ate an early dinner at Tony's in Sept - about 4 pm - no ADRs and walked right in. Service and food was excellent. DS and I had the spaghetti and meatballs we loved it. My mom had the seafood pasta and raved over it. The pumpkin cheese cake and tiramisu were good as well.

My wife and I really enjoyed the food and my kids loved seeing Lady and Tramps footprints outside. I had the steak and I beleive she had Spaghetti. My only complaint had to do with where we were seated. There's a "sun room" type area that looks out onto Town Square. We were seated there in June and at dinner time the sun shines straight in and it was uncomfortably warm in that area. Next time if we're there for dinner, we'll request to be seated somewhere else.

Dh and I ate there in Nov and we actually enjoyed it. We were a little hesitatant about eating there but it was good. I had the mushroom ravioli and my Dh had the chicken parm. We had the calamari for an appetizer.

So glad to hear mostly positive reviews...we will be dining there for the 1st time in 2 & 1/2 weeks.

Love Tony's for the food and the atmosphere. It's one of the staples of Main street if you ask me. I hope they never change it or get rid of.
To die for Tiramisu. A must have.

The location is of course wonderful. But, the food...

meh

It's "OK". IMO, the chicken parm is by far the best thing on the menu.

Know that during busy times if you order something popular like spaghetti and meatballs, it's most likely been pre-plated long before you ordered it and been sitting under heat lamps. :sad2:

I'm amazed Disney hasn't done more with this restaurant. With it's prime location, it could easily be one of the best places to eat in all of "the world"

Instead, it's a couple of notches below even The Olive Garden.

:confused3

All of your comments have really been helpful! My fiance and I are trying to pick a place to eat after our small wedding and before the 2010 MVMCP. With a party of 17, we may stick with Tony's.

We are trying it for the first time in May. We aren't expecting high end food or authentic Italian. From the sound of things, it should be something that a 2 and 11 year old will like. :thumbsup2

We ate at Tony's the first week of December and I was disappointed especially with the atmosphere - not what I expected. Food was just okay.

We ate there last October and it was okay. Would not go out of my way to eat there again.
