Good, Bad? We need another ADR for a day in Magic Kingdom, but i have not heard much about this restaurant-- please share your experiences the good and the bad:) thanks for your help as always:)

I just went for the first time and was not impressed. BUT I have learned on the Disboards - you should try it and make your own decision! Every one has different tastes. We did enjoy LTT for lunch. Good luck.

While food is not bad it is not special and I feel over priced even by Disney standards.Ithink Disney could re -think the the menu here, this is one great location for a restaurant which could be so special. In our opinion Tony's does not live up to its location, does that make sense.Service was good both times. :goodvibes :goodvibes Danny

We liked our meal there very much and in fact it was one of our favorites for our December trip. I enjoyed the bread with the red pesto dipping sauce, the calamari and the pistachio creme brulee. When we go back (this trip was on the DDP so we ordered the full three courses) I would probably just share an entree or two between the four of us. You can fill up on that bread and we enjoyed the appetizers enough that we would not want to skip those in the future. The spaghetti my dd got was a huge portion. The sauce pretty much tasted like Prego but that was perfect for her. Again, we enjoyed it very much, we were out in the glassed in patio area and thought it was lovely. It is pricey but not really any moreso than other WDW full service restaurants.

If you are doing lunch Tony's is not that expensive but I also agree that LTT is a great option for a non character lunch as is the Plaza.

I do agree that if Disney wanted, the location of this place could inspire it to be something really above and beyond. But then that would just be one more 2TS place at the MK so maybe its better if they don't!

Sorry...another vote for "YUCK." We didn't like it at all. Food was not good, certainly nothing to remember. If I remember correctly, the dessert wasn't even anything exciting for us either. It was the only place around that we could get ADRs for the day before the meal. Red flag.....
maybe you will like it. I know a lot of people do. I think I just got spoiled by Macaroni Grill and no other Italian is going to do it for me (except Maggianos, but neither of these two places are options in WDW, obviously...).
Good luck

I've been to Tony's for lunch and dinner and couldn't understand the crazy negative reviews! Lunch was much better than dinner. We like simple fare! We thought it was great! We shared a grilled chicken flatbread and we each had the chicken panini! It's a really pretty restaurant inside too. I would say give it a shot! There are so many different opinions about this one on the Dis

We took DBIL and DH there for their March birthday dinner on March 2nd. We even got a birthday decorated table, and a complimentary dessert. The food was ok. DH had a large salad and loved the dressing. We split the spaghetti and sausage. Server was delightful and treated us well.
