We have never dined at Tiffins before but do have a late lunch scheduled there using the ROL dining package.

Would love to hear the good, the bad and the tasty. :)

LOVE Tiffins! Eaten there twice now, both fantastic experiences, great service. Some complain of the smaller portion sizes, which is accurate, but with the ROL package, you will get plenty of food! Enjoy

Ate dinner there a year ago- wonderful experience- the Wagyu beef dish was to die for. They were not very full at the time because of their location (the restaurant was at the end of a dead-end path that was leading to the Avatar area of the park (that was walled off and under construction at the time. Maybe its better now since I'm guessing its on a path that actually gets foot traffic. But this place definitely deserves consideration if you are looking for a signature restaurant experience on an Animal Kingdom day.
Tservers were great- friendly, super helpful in explaining their entrees, and happy to talk about the restaurant itself, its concept, and also handled my tired and grumpy 3 and 9 year olds at the tail end of their "limits" with class and good humor(when they could have been a bit stodgy dealing with tired "little ones" given the 'signature restaurant setting').

We’ve been twice and are looking forward to bringing foodies DD & DSiL in November. Have enjoyed Wagyu beef, lamb, fish and duck with unique seasonings and new (to us) side dishes like Forbidden Rice. Our servers have been knowledgeable and we’ve enjoyed talking with them. I highly recommend it.

I have several friends who hated the food... their feedback is it is not for the faint of heart and more geared toward adventurous eaters ... and it's very expensive . With that said, I have not been there myself because I've been scared off by friends comments!

Probably our best dining experience at Disney. That was last year but was truly outstanding.

One of the best meals I've had on property. Did the RoL pkg dinner - I chose the octopus app, wagyu beef entree, and lime cheesecake dessert - all three were amazing!

We were there in August and everything about our experience was “okay”. The service was fine, nothing wrong but nothing especially good either. The food was the same; nothing bad but nothing memorable. I’ve seen lots of pictures from reviews and our meals looked nothing like them. The entrees seemed mass produced and like they had been sitting for a while before they reached us. Definitely not worth the price. We were on deluxe dining so ate at many TS restaurants, including California Grill and Yachtsman, and this was close to the bottom of our meals. It’s not a “never again” but I’m not in a hurry to return.

For the price I’d much rather hop over to AKL for Jiko.

I think that the ROL package at Tiffins is a great value! We had a really good dinner there, and enjoyed everything except for the bread service. My husband got the wagyu beef, and it was very good, but my whole fish was definitely the star of the meal, it was delicious. The desserts were good, especially the passion fruit sorbet, but by the time we got to dessert we were pretty full and mostly picking at our plates. It isn't our favorite signature by any means, but with the package we thought it was a great value for what we paid. I tend to disagree that the food is only for adventurous eaters, although I don't find any food at WDW even remotely adventurous, or spiced (except salt), or exotic.

Sites like Trip Advisor and Yelp are awesome for those kinds of reviews, and pictures. I’ve thought of booking a reservation here as well. We used to do a signature almost every night our first few trips, and then it seemed like portion sizes were getting ridiculously small, and we were leaving hungry after paying $200 for a meal for 2 at most signatures. Jiko, Cali Grill, etc. We gave up on signatures because of this on our last trip. I only bring this up because most reviews I have seen for Tiffins have been positive, but many of them mention the ridiculously small portion sizes here in particular, even more so than other signatures.

Understanding there's no accounting for one's taste, but is there a particular reason you didn't like the bread service? (I enjoyed Sanaa's bread service, and will be visiting Tiffin's next month for the first time.) Thanks!

Sanaa's bread service is awesome, Jiko's is also very good. The Tiffin's bread service is much smaller than Sanaa's, with just 4 spreads, none of which were even remotely memorable. Both the pita and the bread that it came with were pretty stale, the cracker like 'bread' was good, but not exactly revolutionary. I expected something more in line with the Sanaa or Jiko bread services, and this was not anywhere near as good, nor did I feel the quality of the ingredients were at the same level. It is the only thing that we ordered at Tiffins that neither of us would even consider ordering again, unless we knew it went through drastic changes.

The food was so outstanding that, despite a completely unacceptable lack of service, will warrant repeated visits.

But beware - the service can be really terrible.

Thanks everyone. I am torn between the wagu beef and the chicken. Has anyone had the chicken? If so what did you think?

We went there last spring and, while it was an interesting menu and the quality was signature-worthy, as others have noted, the portion sizes were small (even by signature restaurant standards).

I'd like to give it another try on the ROL package, however, and try the wagu beef.

For those who think the menu sounds too "exotic"- get the Wagyu Beef-- its basically just medallians of high grade beef/steak, and it also comes with a boneless pork rib, and some sliced veggies- nothing "wacky"- and exquisitely delicious. Everyone likes steak and vegggies!
