Tell me about the Values pillows

I'm one of those I love, love, love my pillow. I rarely travel without it. We leave in the morning and with all the stuff 4 kids require plus now my mom going with I am stuffed to the roof. I'm considering just leaving at home and trying to make do with the pillow at the resort.

What are your opinions of the pillows? We're staying at Pop if that makes a difference.

I often see people comment about the pillows on this board...in relation to the hotel...well, I have only stayed at values (incl POP) and CBR and thought the pillows were AWESOME in each one...I love the Disney pillows...so much that I want to order them on-line!!!

They give you so many of them, and I never use more than one pillow at home, but I load up on them at Disney...they are like synthetic down or something, but I love those pillows...DH always thinks I'm going to try and stuff some in our suitcase when we leave....

I am really picky about my pillow at hotels. At Pop, they have the kind of pillows that you put your head down on and you sort of sink into it. I find them very flat (once you sink into it). So i tried to use 2, but then my head was uncomfortably high. They are not very firm and I prefer a semi-firm pillow. So I guess it really just depends on what you like. Personally I am bringing a travel pillow next time. I will be borrowing my son's mini pillow pet. LOL!

I go nowhere without my big, fluffy pillow. When we went, I stuffed 2 of them into our suitcase. It was a riot watching the airport screeners trying to get them zipped back in after they opened my suitcase! If you really need your pillow, don't leave home without it!

Honestly? Bring your pillow. I know it's a pain to cart it around, but if you're that attached to it nothing will be as good. I know this because I'm the same way and I brought mine to Pop! My mother and partner complained about theirs every morning and how it made it harder to sleep. And at WDW you need your sleep!

I have heard many times that if you have your own pillow you will get a good night sleep no matter what the bed is like. I take my pillow whenever I can and I am usually happy I did. Planning on bringing it in 1 week. But I will be putting a colored pillow case on it as I have lost a nice pillow case before because it was nice and housekeeping changed it.
