Tell me about the seating on Splash Mt.

I haven't been on Splash Mt. in over 10 years and I think it was at DL, not WDW. And I was only on the ride once. Anyway, this next trip, my youngest children have informed me that they want to ride it for the first time.

The adults in the family are trying to remember how the seating is for Splash Mt. I remember it as a log with a larger person in the back, and the smaller person in between the bigger person's legs. And then there are spots for 2 of these groups (so there's room for a total of 4 people on each log). So, you don't sit side-by-side, but rather one person in front of the other. OK, I know I really explained that badly, but I hope you get what I mean.

Is this the way the seating is?

Also, what is the procedure for baby swap on this ride? My 6 1/2 month old dgd will be with us. There will be a total of 6 of us, one being the baby. Do 4 of us get to go on both times with the baby swap?

The log was definitely different from what I remember, so it must have been DL where I rode this.

You sit next to somebody. If you sit in the front, the right side getsnmore wet than the left. Hope that helped.

Disneyland's is different than WDW. What you remembered is the way it is at DL.
WDW is rows of seats in the log, as others explained it. At least 2 can sit on a seat (3 if one is a child and the other 2 are sort of medium sized).
