tell me about The Plaza Restuarant in MK

We are going to visit DD who is down in WDW doing the College Program - we are going in mid-March...we are doing lunch at The Plaza Restuarant and I was just wondering if anyone wanted to share their "review" or experiences with The Plaza?!

Honestly, I was not impressed...the food was just okay, but if i were going to do a TS, i would go somewhere else, like CP or Tony's...i would even do CS over it...especially CHH

We enjoyed it. I had the vegetarian sandwich, dh had a turkey sandwich and my girls both had pb&j. I liked the broccoli slaw. Dessert was very good. The only pics I have are of the cupcakes the girls got because of their birthdays.

You can read my review from 12/2, we were not very impressed but maybe it was because it was a MVMCP night and it was packed and seemed very rushed and our server was not very good. But if you dont want to deal with counter service it is an acceptable alternative.

Good food, reasonable pricing for Disney, and quiet. We loved the quiet on a crazy day! It's simple and not a lot of theming, which can be positive or negative, depending on your tastes and move.

One of our favorites. I love the Plaza. I like the Hamburger and the Club sandwiches. Dh enjoys the Rubin. The Brownie Sundae is good - but BIG. Last time we were there the Mayor and a lady from the town came by to visit - very fun.

The veggie sandwich is one of my all time Disney World favorites! I highly recommend it. We go here every trip. It has CS prices but it is still a sit down meal.

My whole family loves the Plaza! We all usually get the Reuben - but I have to try the veggie sandwich the next time I'm there!

One of my friends always said she LOVED that place and I never understood why until I went there. I always thought it was just a little sandwich place, which it is, but it is SO delicious! I had the veggie sandwich and it was great!

one of our family's newest faves... it will most definitely become a "must do" whenever we go back (which is annually, at least!)... we had the most amazing meal there... simple and straightforward but filling with outstanding service! so outstanding that we went to city hall later in the day to compliment our server, the chef who handled ds' food allergies and the manager 'cause they were all A+++!

a little story... our server, janette, has been there 20+ years and fell in love with our baby, so much so that she asked if she could take him to visit the kitchen staff as they never get to see the guests and she did and it kept baby happy (and allowed me to eat w/out having to entertain him) and apparently the kitchen staff fell in love with him too!
