tell me about the pizza at the boardwalk?

The pizza the Spoodles pizza window is okay. I personally prefer WGP Cafe for pizza when at WDW. Regarding the "atmosphere" for eating pizza while on the BW, I will agree that the view is beautiful, however it is difficult to concentrate on the view when you are battling the birds for your food. If you decide to eat outside here be prepared to guard your pizza with your life as those birds are tenacious little rascals!

I'm from NY, so I'm a little biased. If you want traditional pizza, Disney isn't the best place. (Although Mama Melroses has some good flatbread pizzas and Wolfgang Puck Express I like).

That being said I was looking forward to the Boardwalk pizza when I went in April. When I ate it, it was not as good as I hoped for, but still better than the traditional theme park pizza. However, it still isn't good. If I had to give it a letter grade I'd give it a C- and the theme park pizza a D.

My humble opinion.

I too am from NY and totally agree with this poster. The atmosphere sitting along the Boardwalk is great, but I'd stick with a meatball sandwich or something from the bakery. And since we've been living here in Florida I can tell you that it is not WDW that can't hire any good pizza chefs. No pizza tastes "right" here and I think it is because of the lousy water. You need water to make the dough and that is what changes the taste entirely. Just returned from NY and we certainly ate our share of delicious pizza while we were there!
