Tell me about the other side of Main Street USA

We always tend to go through all the shops (on your left when entering the park) on one side of Main Street. The only two we have been to on the other side of the street are Main Street Bakery and the Ice Cream shop. What all are we missing. This year I want to take it a little slower and enjoy the atmosphere.

Behind the Main St. Cinema they have cute little cutout's of characters like 101 Dalmations, I think Buzz or something from Toy Story, and a couple of others where you can take pics. There's also a little "walk down memory lane" of photos too.

Actually that is the Exposition Hall. Great place to pick up film and take those fun green screen photos.

Next to Exposition Hall is Tony's. On the next corner is the Chapeau (hats) and the Confectionary (yummy candy and treats). Next to that is the Main St Cinema which is constantly changing. Next to that is Uptown Jewlers.

Next corner is Main St. Market House and Disney & Co. (I worked there :) ) Lots of fun Kitchen stuff and Disney & Co is always changing too. Check out the Market House for the checker board and pick up the old fashioned telephone while you are there. Next door is the Arribas brothers, Bakery and Ice Cream Shop. On the very corner is the Plaza Restaurant.

It is much different than the other side of the street :)

Thanks for the replies, we must check these out this trip. Isn't Chapeau where they will monogram your mouse ears for free?

I'm horrible with links, but do a google search for "WDW virtual visit" and you should find a site with lots of neat pix of the MS shops and more stuff

Thanks! For some reason I was thinking you were up on some sort of platform behind where you sit to see the movie? Are all the places on that side connected like on the other side? Maybe that's what got me confused? :confused3

I believe you are correct on the chapeau. I love going into Aribbas Brothers, if you're lucky they'll be working on some glass pieces. It's neat to watch!

THe move in the back of the exposition hall has a small ramp leading down to the movie. The photo ops are kinda higher up. Some of the stores are connected but it is like 3 big chunks, not the whole street.
