Tell me about the NY port departure

Easy to get to port if flying into EWR. You can use a car service or Uber. We did the airtrain to Penn Station and then a cab to the port. $13 each for the train and the cab was about $9 total with tip.

I'm from the Scranton area and we (2 people) opted to take Martz bus to the Port Authority Bus Terminal for our 11/11-18 Magic cruise. Jumped in a taxi to the pier and arrived about 1015am. Even though our PAT was 130pm we were able to check our bags, go through Security and check in with DCL. Then waited until #25 was called. Once on board we booked a drink seminar, changed to early dining, dropped our carry-ons off in the room and grabbed a bite at Cabana's. Round trip bus and round trip taxi cost us just under $150. Saved a ton considering Lincoln Tunnel fees, cruise terminal parking fees (add hotel fees to make the savings even better).
