Hey everyone,

I have not done a tour before and I am thinking about signing us up for one this year. It is myself and my best friend, girls trip! What do you think of this tour? Is it worth the time and money? Did you have fun? Any advice would be great!! Thanks!!

Fantastic! Especially if you like HM. :earsboy:

Glad to hear this is popular. Planning on a tour for our October visit!

We are doing this in August and looking forward to it. My daughter LOVES the Haunted Mansion so she'll go crazy for the tour of the ride!

DW & I did this tour 2-3 years ago, our jaws were practically dragging on the floor when we got to the HM portion of the tour(HM is our favorite WDW attraction.)
But the rest of the tour was also super cool! It's a bit less pricey than most of the other tours and it doesn't take a huge chunk out of your day so there's plenty of time for regular park touring. As a reminder don't forget to check for the typical discounts like AP/Disney Visa/DVC, etc. We've only done MTMK and KTTK (also superb) but the MTMK was so good I think we'd almost do a repeat before trying other tours. :earsboy:

Another endorsement for the Marceline to MK tour! We've done several WDW backstage tours as well as a tour at DL (Walk in Walt's Footsteps), we've read a lot about WDW and Disney, and we've seen a lot of TV shows, and we still learned a lot on this tour!

That's good to know!!! Glad to hear you learned something new!!

This is one tour we haven't done. Need to get with it and do it next trip!

Did this tour last September and loved it - even in Tropical Storm conditions :). I loved the stories as much as everything else.

I booked Marceline for my solo trip this Sept - Is it correct that no cameras are allowed at all during the trip? I understand when you go backstage, but do they allow you to take pics at all?

I know at the start our guide said you can take pictures as long as it wasn't something that was out of place when we were in liberty square ppo

I booked for August and was told that no cameras are allowed on the tour.

I just returned from a two week WDW vacation.

They are very serious about no pictures when you are backstage (and no texting or checking emails either...phones must stay put away during backstage portions of the tour).

My "Keys to the Kingdom: guide said no picture taking at any time as she didn't want the group to get delayed or split apart if participants kept stopping to take pictures.

My "Marceline to the Magic Kingdom" guide had no issues with people taking pictures when we were in the regular park areas.

As to the tour itself, I felt the Marceline tour was a little short (coming in at about 3 hours), but was entertaining and going backstage in the HM was an interesting experience.

I also took the "Undiscovered Future World", "World Showcase: Destinations Discovered" and "Gardens of the World" tours at Epcot as well as the big 7 1/2 hour "Backstage Magic" tour.
