Tell me about the Marceline to Magic Kingdom Tour

We did it 2 years ago and our DS who was 12 at the time luved it. He said it was the best ever. Even went out and bought some Walt books to keep up.

Just took the tour 2 days ago and it is fantastic! We had Michael, who was so passionate about what he was talking about. Think about questions you might want to ask, the guides are very knowledgeable Try to get there as earl as possible The pictures of a practically empty Main Street are wonderful!

I took it a few years ago and enjoyed it, but not as much as KTTK. Kind of viewed it as "KTTK lite." It may come down to tour guide - our KTTK guide was phenomenal and our MTMS guide was "okay."

Did the Marceline tour last summer with our family--me, DH, DS14, and DS16. We all LOVED it. As others have said, it's a great length so it doesn't eat up a whole day but you still get to see and do so much.

We all love Haunted Mansion so that was a highlight. Without giving too much away, you're group will go on the ride together, with the guide in one of the middle doom buggies in the group. He's able to narrate so you can hear a lot about the details as you ride through. And then there's another amazing piece I won't go into at all!

We also got a private viewing of Carousel of Progress, again so he could point things out throughout.

We were told no pictures during anything backstage. He allowed us to take pictures in an empty Liberty Square, but told us if there was anything "out of place" we'd have to put cameras away.

Highly, highly recommend this tour!

Thanks for the report Chrissie! Which attractions are they including now, and where is lunch? I have taken the tour a few years ago but some folks have reported changes in what they are including now.

No lunch included. The two rides are Haunted Mansion and Carousel of Progress.
