I'm beginning to plan our trip for next year . How bad is the last 2 weeks in June ? We did go in the middle of August this year and it was hot, stormy, and crowded but we managed to get everything done that we wanted and had a good time. It was the horrible heat and storms every day that got to me. I was hoping maybe June would be a little better. Anyone who as been to WDW during these weeks please post your experiences :)

It's really, really, really hot in June so it will be similar to what you experienced in August. Sometimes it rains. They get a lot of those isolated rain showers that last a few minutes or much longer. I find for me any time May through October is pretty unbearable. I don't think I've ever been in April. I think I've visited parts of just about every other month except February & July.

I would say it's the same.... we went three years ago at that time and to me, pretty miserable. It poured, super humid and the crowds were insane. We of course made do and had a good time but my family personally vowed never again. If you are able to go another time of year I would, sorry to be negative!

As previous posters have said, the last two weeks of June feel the same as August: hot, humid, rainy and crowded. If you have a choice of when to visit, you're probably better off avoiding June, July and August. If you must visit during the summer, there is no appreciable difference between the three months.

Ok thanks. Yes we have to go June, July or August :( I was hoping June would be a little better.

The first week in June and the last week in August are your best options for getting a little bit of a crowd break - during the first week in June, most northern schools are still in session, and during the last week in August, most of the schools in FL have already started back. Otherwise, *to me* the heat and humidity is actually a little more tolerable in June than it is in August. For someone from "up north," you may not notice any difference at all, because it's simply hot and humid every day, period. YMMV. :flower3:

Ok thank you. I know gay days are the first week in June. Doesn't that make it more crowded at the parks?

A little, but since there is a schedule, it's predictable. Just use the crowd calendar at easywdw.com to plan your days and you'll be fine.

Thanks:) I usually check out easywdw and touring plans for crowds at each park.

We may go the week of June 12th next year. I wonder if that would be any less crowded than the week starting the 19th? I have read the farther into June it gets the more crowded it becomes. We would go during the first week but school will have just let out and we would like a week of rest before we go.
