Tell me about the Jack Sparrow at MK

Kitty...this was at WDW.

Sadly, he doesn't walk around the park or pose for pictures/autographs. Captain Jack is only out during part of the show. He isn't there at the exact beginning or end of the show (he sneaks away)...probably would be attacked by a mob of females otherwise.

If they can bring Jack Sparrow out for regular meet-and-greets at Disneyland, then they can (and should) most certainly bring him out for regular meet-and-greets at WDW as well.

The least we can hope for is that he'll come out for sets at the Halloween Parties, as well as the Pirate & Princess Parties.

I'm hoping Captain Jack Sparrow is there when we're there the first week of May. After all, POTC 3 will be out on May 25th! I will have to send DH for Dole Whips (or maybe hot dogs at Casey's Corner)...... , savvy?

Let's hope they have him out for meet and greets soon, but I really think they should at least for the Halloween and no doubt the Princess and Pirate party!!!

Jack sparrow is just great! we found out about the little shows from the barber. Our DS was getting his first haircut and talking to the barber about pirates and he mentioned that Capt Jack comes out and does shows a few times a day and actually had someone call someone to find out the times.

Its a very cute show, DS was one of the kids chosen to come up and help out and got a Pirate certificate (scroll) saying he is one of Capt Jack's crew. Very neat. He does not stand around for pics or autographs though, sneaks away pretty quickly after the show in fact.

Actually, for other CJS fans here, hop over to the Budget Board and check out the Freebies thread. One of the gals (maddhatir) has the most gorgeous photo of JD I've ever seen. I think I'll be checking in on a daily basis!

The meet and greets at DL are very discreet. Capt. Jack walks around and talks to people and then if people are lucky he'll choose a discreet spot (off the beaten path) and stop for photos and autographs. My dd (5) absolutely loved him. He had all the movements and voice down very well. Also he was very good looking! DD loved it when he called her "dearie" and swore her in as a pirate! She goes around saying he has a special name for her! LOL! My point is though if we had not been looking for a quiet spot to sit we would never have seen him. He was not in front of Pirates but was in the general area.

I can not wait to see the show in WDW next week.

ahhhh!!!! i hope he is still there in december when we go!!! I alread told my family that i was getting a picture with jack sparrow and the prince at 1900 park fare and i am a determined person too!!! i would love to see this jack

Man I hope he is there when we go in Sept. I have a cjs in my own home since the first poc. 5 y/o really thinks he is a pirate and introduces himself as cjs. He wears pirate garb everyday and this will probably be his costume for mnsshp. It would be the highlight of his short life if he got to actually see cjs. I hope I hope I hope.

Linking you here, I will post pics ASAP of the 4 Jacks I saw between 8-23 and 8-31, I believe I saw the ones you are referring to here and have pics. The good one, if it is the same one, he had the hands flairing all the time and was perfect! The other well, 3 I saw, none of them had it all down. One had way too big a face. Gosh I hope I can show you all 4 of them in my pics. They were so different, I hope the pics captured that. Will post them soon.

OMG..that one guy looks almost JUST LIKE Johnny... I wish I could get down there to atleast catch the show ... I've never been to WDW or DL so going AND seeing Jack would be a double bonus for me....LOL

We saw the very end of the show one day last week and then saw the whole thing on Friday (8/11). Here is a picture I took. I agree that the actor is dead on and the show was FANTASTIC!!! The other posters are right that the actors do not pose for pictures. It was funny the day we were there - Captain Hook was sneaking around behind the crowd and he was posing for some pics while the show was going on. VERY cute! I hope you catch the show and get to see Jack!!!

I haven't seen this Jack yet...I saw the GREAT one 3x and another guy once, so there must be 3 different "Jack"s. What day did you see this guy? I wish I knew what days the very talented guy tends to be there.
