Hi Everyone!
Someone posted that they were having their reception at the Fire Place Room at GF. What is this all about? We will only be having at the max 11 ppl (this is including bride and groom) I remember them saying that they had to pay for 12 (which seems reasonable enough if we only have 11 ppl)
I had originally thought about having dinner at LeCellier...and then off to a dessert party. However, that would mean that I would have to change out of my dress and then go to dinner and then to the dessert party in no so magical clothes *pout* Ok so I can deal with that if I have to but if there is another option I'm game for that..
Fill me in!!!

Can you select your menu?
What are the options?

Thanks for your help.

Well, if they mean the private room at Victoria & Albert's, it's $2,000 for up to 12 people, $165 for each additional guest (max of 21). Or, if you want the room all night and not just be one of two private parties scheduled for the room that night (in succession, not at the same time), it's $3,000 for up to 12, $165 for each additional guest.

The menu changes seasonally, and I don't think you get to pick it....

I'm having my reception there and lurkyloo's is the current information about the room. My contract is a bit different but I also got that signed before the latest increase.

I have the email address if you would like to email them about the most current pricing.

hmmm...Not bad...but I'm not certain that I would be in love with it... I'm a picky eater and some of the stuff on the menus on allears (maybe...I have the site bookmarked) just doesn't do it for me...
Looks like I might have to do the superman thing and change out of the dress...I have more than enough time to look for other options...:rotfl:

**Can't you tell the waiting is killing me!

It is fancy food, but it isn't that far out. The way they word it makes it seem at lot more exotic than it really is. However, meals there are longer and can take about 2.5 hours.

hmmm...I'm hoping for a 2:30 wedding...5-ish or so for dinner...it could be done by 8:30 for dessert...I'd have to be sold on the menu...
Who knows, maybe my pallet will change and I'll like fancier foods. BF REALLY loved LeCellier...
