Have any of you been to the concerts at the music plaza stage? I have seen some pictures but it is kind of hard to tell - is the lawn area all one level or does it go up in the back at all? I'm wondering how hard it will be for kids to see if the aren't in the very front.

Also, do they ever do concerts during the day or are they always at night?

Thank you!

It's all one level. Not sure about them doing day concerts.

I don't remember them ever doing a day concert there. Theres a smaller stage across from Mels they put up for day shows if any. All of the shows Ive ever seen there, have been at night.

Unlike in the beginning of the concerts at Universal where there was a rise in the middle of the grass, so the people in the back couldn't see, the new area in front is all nice and flat. The last 3 concerts weve seen there, Huey Lewis, Robin Thicke and Manheim Steamroller, weve stood across the street on the sidewalk next to Monster Café and had a clear view of the stage. If visibility becomes a problem for the vertically challenged, there are several screens around the stage and street that show the stage action.

I went to a few when I lived in Florida. It's basically lawn seating in front of a stage.
