Please give any reviews or comments about Teppanyaki at Epcot. Any comments good or bad will be appreciated.

I haven't been since 1995, but we had a great time that visit. I love food cooked on that type of grill, and the chef really puts on a fun show while cooking. My son was not enraptured with the food, but he was only 8 at the time. If you have a small group, they will seat you with others. I think each grilling area seats about 8 people.

Hopefully others who have been there more recently will also respond, but we really liked it :)

We really enjoyed Teppanyaki. The chef was entertaining for both adults and children. The food was very good. I was having trouble deciding which combination to order because the shrimp was paired with the New York Strip and the tenderloin with lobster. I wanted shrimp and tenderloin and was told, "no problem!" (I just love it that WDW is always so accomodating. At a lot of local restaurants if you ask for something a little different than what the menu says they look at you like you have 2 heads.)
My shrimp were good but the tenderloin was divine!! And he prepared it just as I like it. DH had a chicken and shrimp combo which he enjoyed. The kids had fun learning to eat with chopsticks. They were better at it than I was! I finally had to use my fork or my food would have been cold by the time I mastered the chopsticks. LOL. We didn't dine there last trip just because we wanted to try new places but next trip we'll go back there. BTW, the lunch and dinner menus are pretty much identical except that lunch is a good bit less $$. I hope this helps!

We ate at Teppanyaki last month. It was me, DH and two DDs, 11 and 9. We were seated with another family of four. My girls ordered from the children's menu so their meals came with fruit salad rather than a green salad. They both had the steak. DH ordered the scallop & shrimp combo, I had the shrimp & tenderloin combo. Our chef was fairly entertaining but we found ourselves a little jealous of some of the other tables' chefs who were a lot more fun! We all liked the food but the only negative I would say about it is that my girls have very good appetites and because they didn't care for the veggies (zucchini, summer squash, onions), they left feeling less than full. My older daughter had gone to Benihana's in Washington DC in June as part of a class trip, and so the novelty of the grill was gone. She also liked the food better at Benihana's. I am glad that we went to try it but probably wouldn't go back again.

We always make a stop here. The food is good and you can see how fresh it is. They have added sushi on their menu which makes my husband happy. We never leave hungry, though I could see kids not liking some of the veggies. Always a great meal and good time here.:D
