I would really like to do this during our trip in late April, but I haven't been able to find much information on it. (I just saw someone's video.)

Does anyone know the general prices? Does it matter how many people take part. We have a Photo Connect Star Card package; will that make a difference?

If my younger son and I did it, would my husband and older son be able to at least join us in the last scene? Older son wouldn't be up for the whole thing (neither would DH!), but I'd love to have one scene with all of us.

Thanks for any info.

My DIL & GD decided to go for it in November. I was encouraged by the photographer to join in for better results. I opted out of a few scenes when it seemed to go on just a bit too long.

You put on a robe, there weren't many to pick from in our private 'studio'. I sent the photographer for one to better fit my GD. Unfortunately, none available that fit her really well but she was happy. Was told most use their own robes. GD's was left at home along with the disney princess gowns, just too unseasonably hot to wear in th parks. I do wish we had stuffed it in a backpack for the video.

We were then placed against a wall and directed how to act...where to look, what to do, etc. for many different scenarios, at least 10, lost count. Photographer very upbeat and patient with us...look to your right, no your other right.

Took about a half hour. My family enjoyed it, I was self-conscious and we were all hot in the stuffy room. I do feel the robes they provided could've used a good cleaning.:magnify:

After the pictures were taken, we went out to the counter, saw a few of the pictures and agreed to purchase. was told to come back in a half hour to pick up the disk and that DiL could view the video on email link.

They were happy with it and DiL felt it worthwhile to purchase. stated price was around $70, seem to recall they offered an AP discount. As with most souvies, the value is subjective, but this one does have staying power of sorts. If it were up to me, I'd have passed on it even though a HP fan.

Yea, I'm not paying $70 for some photos. Same thing with the robes. Just out of the price I'd pay for something I probably wouldn't wear often. The photo I might be tempted, but still that's a bit high.

I offered to let my daughter do this, we checked out the videos and she opted to spend the money elsewhere. It's cute, but it's not $70 cute.

I will admit, I got teary-eyed watching a few videos online. It would mean something to have this with my HP-loving little boy before he's not a little boy anymore. :) (Especially if we can get the other two in for a scene at the end.)

I'll make it a game-time decision. I did see somewhere it's $50 if you have a Star Card package?

I just read this on Touring Plans. Sounds like a good deal for those that love pictures and HP. We might do it.
"For an extra $50 you can add a personalized DVD from the Shutterbuttons green-screen studio in Diagon Alley to the 3-day package."

When we were there in January it included photos and video. We went back in February and now its only the video. Its $70 no matter how many people do it the video. The robes they provide for you to wear seemed clean (saw the post above)....we did it for fun in January and bought photos but not the video. My daughter and her friend did it in February and we did not buy it
