Hows the food, service etc. Is there a dress code. I have heard it's pricey,if so is it worth it? How about the desserts, portion and quality. Thanks to all!!! :smooth:

OK, I'm the one man Shula's Rah Rah Squad.

Shula's by far is the best beef on property. The portions are HUGE. The beef is tender. The service is excellent. It is an a la carte menu and did I mention the portions are HUGE. If you order smart it is no more pricey then any of the other higher end restaurants on property. The key is to split apps and sides. One is enough for at least two people.

Is it worth it? Every penny!

I'll throw in my two cents, b/c well, I can:)

We loved it as well. We love all types of steackhouses, and my fiance is a prime rib freak (I think he ate it nearly every day of our last trip). I think if you like Mortons/ Ruth Chris type places, you'll love Shula's

We ate at Shulas last weekend and it was wonderful but very very expensive. We shared the 4lb maine lobster at $80 and then had a side of asparagus shared plus steak tartar and a salad. Nothing but diet coke to drink and no dessert. our bill came to 160 dollars with tip. I will say it was the best lobster I ever had and I'm from new england and get them alot. Atmosphere and service was great. the steaks looked equally great. I would go again in a minute.

It was the most tender steak I ever had, but for overall taste I'd rather have the steak at the Flying Fish Cafe.

It is expensive, but if you love steak, or at least love great steaks, it is definitely worth it.

Based on personal experience as well as comments I've read, service is very polite, professional, and attentive.

The dress code is either business casual or resort casual, can't remember which. But this is not always passed on when you make a reservation and I'm sure not enforced (note: that is not me saying I agree with not following the dress code, only stating a fact).

I have seen a t-shirt or two inside, but most are resort casual or nicer, which basically means no tank tops, t-shirts, swimsuits, flip-flops, etc. If you want to dress-up, you won't be out of place.

Eeyore2u,

Thanks for your comments on Shula's. You've sold me, we will definetly be eating there in October.
