We just tried it for the first time, we divided it by 6 of us, just to have a sample. It looks like a round large pastry (about 5 inches in diameter), it is filled with a cream filling. Yummy but very rich.

yummy...took awhile to get to the cream center (but I really liked the coconut and custard on top)...DH kind of helped me eat it, but waited until I hit the filling! LOL He said it was like a pan dulce...yes, but better, I think! Thanks DIS for turning me on to this!

I tried school bread for the first time on our last trip. School bread is now a favorite and a must for me each trip. Very very yummy!
