Tell me about Restaurantosaurus breakfast.

We were thinking about this restaurant for a character breakfast. What do you guys think.

We have been to H&V and CRT but want to try something different.

Any other suggestions?

We loved it because Donald Duck is my boyfriend's favorite! The food and character interaction seemed about the same to me as the other character meals we have done.

We have done this twice the first time was a slower time of the year and with that and a triffic CM waitress it has been the best character meal of all. The second time was more
crouded and we felt more rushed and the CM waiter was nice enough but no fun stuff and we felt like he wanted us out ASAP. But all in all we would do this again. Food was OK.

We went last Jan. and had a great time. We went around 9:45 wasn't busy at all. There was good interaction with the characters.
Other character breakfasts we had done include:
CRT - I generally like this one, but you want something new
CP - We have done this twice. I liked it much better this past July when we got the first seating.
CM - My kids and my dh like this one much better than I do. It's a little to much for me early in the morning. We've only done this once.
1900 Park Fare- My favorite breakfast. I enjoy the face characters. The food is very good and it's never really crowded.

CM's will meet you at the turnstiles to take groups of people back to the restaurant. Once there, you will be checked in and they will have someone taking pictures outside.

The atmosphere is very nice, and the food buffet is usually well tended and hot. Very good selection of hot items, breakfast breads, fruit, pastry, and yes, Krispy Kreme donuts. When we went in July, our waitress was very good and playful. She once was walking by an adjacent table, faked a sneeze, and then squirted an unsuspecting woman with her back turned with some water from one of those fake flower type of things. What a riot! Characters do a great job, and this is one of the few places that we get a chance to be up close with Donald.

We love Breakfastosaurus. The food and characters are great. The CM's are what really make this breakfast however.

This was a terrific experience. The CMs were great! The characters were great! The food was great!

We, 2 adults, really enjoyed this and would do it again!

We had a terrific time and I would recommend this to EVERYONE!

We loved it! I thought the food was particularly good (DW did not like the spicing, though) and the character interaction was probably the best of any character meal we have been to.

We had a 10:30 a.m. p.s. on Aug. 9, and thought it was a wonderful time, probably second only to CM. They did start pulling the hot stuff as it got closer to 11:30, but we were waiting for one last character, and the server was very nice about it. Food was excellent, esp. made-to-order omlets.

How did you get to AK for the early PS and at what time did you get to the turnstiles? We have an 8:10am PS on Sept 18 and still have not figured out how to get there.

If the CMs take you back to the restaurant, then there shouldn't be too long of a wait, right? We've had PS for breakfast in the past and have had to wait 2 minutes at some of them and others the wait has been as long as an hour. (1900 park fare and Chef Mickey's) I went for the ealiest PS we could get when I called because I want to be in Dinoland just as the park opens. If we get in on time and finish just before the park opens, will they make use go back to the entrance or can we stay and linger at the restaurant?

There was a line at the far left turnstyles. The turnstyles opened at 8:00. As soon as you go through, check in at the desk immediately in front of you. They take your name and how many are in your party, you move over and wait a moment. Then, within 3 minutes, a CM put together a group of about 20 of us and we followed him to breakfast. There was only a moments wait at the door, while they got our tables in order.

The characters visit our room last, so we were able to get food and sit down and eat a little first.

Two observations:

The instructions are not clear that when you enter the gate you have to check in and give your name. This might be easy to miss.

At no time did I see them check a list to see if we had reservations.

Breakfast for two, including tip, was $40.00.

Well, I'm a minority here. But the food was cold and we had to wait for them to put out more food. CM not memorable. Saw a lot of Donald. Had to wait forever on Mickey!! Did get some great photos and interaction with the charactors. My 4 yr old loved that but only had 2 strips of bacon, a cookie and OJ, too excited to eat. We had our ps for 8:45, got seated 15 minutes later. All in all it was just OK for us.

We just got back and I have to say this was the one meal we were dissapointed in. The food was fine, our CM was fine .... but the characters lacked.

Goofy seemed to have an attitude and we all felt rushed.
Now ... 1900 park fare dinner was AWESOME! The characters were GREAT and even danced with the girls. Maybe Donald's breakfast just paled in comparison ... but it was kind of a ok .. hurry up ... take the picutre ... bye.

We also found the place uncomforatable in general, hard metal cold chairs that slid out from under you. We were in a large group of 37 .... we felt very squashed into one small room ... in fact ... only one character in the room made it impossible for anyone to get to thier table since they would block the doorway. They also squashed us together at the tables.

Maybe it was just a bad day. But, I think for now I will stick to dinners because this is my second character breakfast and I find in comparison to the dinners ... you are rushed.

Hi! I've only been to 2 character breakfasts so far, Breakfastasaurus and the Garden Grill breakfast before it closed, but I definitely enjoyed the food at the Garden Grill more. I think that I prefer family style serving; everything is guaranteed to be warm and plentiful. When we went to get doughnuts at Donald's, they looked pretty shabby - very slim pickin's. The rest of the food there was okay, but nothing really memorable.
The characters were the reason why we went to the Breakfastasaurus, since we're not big fans of a buffet breakfast for the reasons listed above. It was pretty cool to see Donald, and we also go to see Goofy & Pluto. They all seemed brief in their stays, but not rude at all. I could just tell they had a lot of people to see. Mickey never made it to our room, in the 45 minutes we were there, but I'm sure if we'd eaten longer, he would probably have made rounds again.

We loved this breakfast when we did it two years ago. In fact, we are taking a trip without the kiddies in Dec and it was the one character meal my DH said we had to do. So we will be there for 10:00 am PS on Dec 2, our first dull day at WDW! I'm hungry already!

We will be trying this breakfast for the first time in December. I am sure it will be as good as most of you replied. It will be a great start to out day in AK.
