Tell Me About Poly and Boulder Ridge

We have a 5 night stay at Poly, followed by 3 nights at Boulder Ridge, later in June. Never stayed at either. Can anyone tell me what's available for food options and activities? What are the pools like at either? Transportation options? We will be going to Studios from Poly and MK from BR. Also hoping to hit Springs, Blizzard Beach and maybe mini golf. Thanks for any information!

I own at Copper but stayed at BR a few years ago. Before refurb. All of Wilderness Lodge has great options, IMO. Geyser Point is a great food choice for quick serve. The boat to MK or Contemporary is great and we love it. If you get the boat and don't have to wait, we much prefer it to bus.

As far as activities, they typically have all the normal stuff by the pools - crafts for the kids, games in the pool. Not sure what they are doing since Covid.

The main pool has a splash pad if you have littles.

Nothing but great things to say about Wilderness Lodge. Enjoy!

Poly - I ate at Captain Cooks quickserve (liked), Kona Cafe (so-so, wont necessarily repeat), Dole Whip stand (liked). Nice quiet pool and volcano slide pool. Monorail available, which I love. You'll have to bus to DHS and DS, which is fine, my wait was short.
BRV - boat to MK, hit or miss on wait. Bus can be a wait. BUT Don’t drive to MK!
All great restaurants at this resort try to get a res at Whispering Canyon for sure. Nice and attractive quiet pool at BRV, but you can also use the nice loud fancy pool at the main lodge.

We really enjoyed Kona at Poly in March. Plan to make a trip there for lunch during our BLT stay in June.

We stayed at the Poly in Sept '20. The kids loved the pool and slide! We mobile ordered breakfast and the Tonga Toast for breakfast at Captain Cook's IMO was especially delicious! Also, tried Kona Cafe and I thought it was a good option. Maybe not something I would try to go to again and again but not bad! There are simply other places that I might also want to try.
