Tell me about October please

We have changed our dates multiple times and are now looking at the week 10.10-18. What to expect regarding weather? Are the pools open? Also, it seems that the dining reservations are already very full this week, not sure if that is because of limited options or more people. Thanks.

Hot and humid 85-90 degree's in Oct. Pools never close unless there is lightening or hurricane or really cold temps which occur in Jan or Feb

October still feels like summer to me in Orlando! We are scheduled for the week before you and the crowd predictor that we've seen shows an increase in guests in all parks the week that you are planning. I'm not sure if that is a fall break thing or if there is something else going on that would bring people to the parks.

There may still be some schools who are off over that time too as I think Scotland, UK has breaks over the period you've selected. Not sure about other countries (I'm based in England, UK).

October is one of the weird months that, for the most part, is hot and sunny. Occasionally I have been there when it is rainy and cooler but those years are not that common.
