Tell me about Nintendo Wii!!!

DH has just ordered Wii and he is really excited about it, for those of you that have one, what are they like? Should he have bought a PS 3 instead?

I was orginally debating whether to wait for the PS3, so glad i decided on the Wii.

I got a Wii for xmas and it is great.

Great price and gaming experience for me is better, plus DD (5) is able to join in, and added bonus of a workout lol.

I have seen a PS3 in the shop (import i think £599 and the games are £54)

We already had a PS2 and Gamecube in the house as well as Gameboys of various types and DS. The children were given a Wii for Christmas and we have enjoyed the Gameplay aspect of the system. Although the games are not too advanced the interactivity makes it great fun.

There is NO WAY Tom is getting both - he has enough to keep him busy! LOL He keeps telling me how much I will enjoy playing it LOL

Dont worry about becoming a Wii widow, I just feel less guilty about been on here now Gavin has his xbox 360!

bought hubby one for xmas.it's great fun!
i'm trying to lose some weight,& boy does he give me a workout,on the tennis!!!

I say get a Wii60, that is a Wii and a 360, and definitely not a PS3 due to $ony's arrogance and bully boy tactics, and the fact that the technology pundits seem to think BluRay is doomed already.
Ive got a PS1, a PS2, and a PSP, and the first and last machines there are pretty good and might enlist some kind of brand loyalty there, but they will not tell me what I can and can't import or buy off Ebay.
I was most amused to see that Wii has sold twice as many PS3's in Japan during December....Nice move of $ony to deprive the European market (as we are 2nd rate customers to them) to supply the home market, only to not even sell out.....Brilliant.
Maybe if they hadnt got LikSang shutdown they could have sold out by selling to the exporters. Serves them right.
