Tell me about Mythos?

My kids love Mythos! The only issue I have with this restaurant is the service. It has been sub-par the three or four times I have been. Obviously not enough to stop me from going, but really not good service at all. It was slow, and was like your server was trying to avoid catching your eye - weird. We didn't go last trip and probably will not go in three days on our next visit.

We feel the same after our last visit there. We had loved our meals, prior to that one. We went for dinner with a reservation, but had to wait. It was only about 15 min., so no biggie. It gave us time to relax & look over the menu. Imagine our surprise, when we walked in & all the tables on the bottom floor weren't even filled. We were the 1st table seated on the upper level & our table was all the way in the back. We like peaceful dining, so everything is still going good. Not for long though. We've never had a server that bad at Pizza Hut. No kidding! We ordered our drink & appetizer at the same time, but not our entree. We weren't offered a wine list, so it was soft drinks & tea. She didn't seem pleased that we wouldn't place our entree order, but we hadn't decided on what we wanted yet. She did deliver those items fairly promptly. The appetizer was great, BTW. We then ordered our entrees, which were by far the worst we'd ever eaten there sadly. Not yet full from mediocre food, plus the fact we always order dessert with dinner, we were still waiting for a scrumptious dessert to salvage the meal. That proved to be a long wait. After a very long time attempting to get her to look our way not only to place a dessert order, but in an attempt to get at least one drink refill, we finally gave up. My DH chased her down to get our check, which she basically throwed on the table then was off once again. We're not one to make waves or cause trouble, so we just left very unhappy with our experience. We will try it again for lunch, but will never waste a coveted, vacation dinner there again. BTW, I'm glad to see we weren't the only one with this experience. I wrote a review when we returned, & it was if I'd committed Universal blasphemy.

That is my DBIL...taken Friday, Feb. 2nd. We were on the floor..table of 13! Loud, rowdy bunch...was DSIL's birthday. (Had 4 kids) Balloons hats everywhere..... yep, I think that was us you saw....

That is too funny! Although, I thought it was going to be your hubby, which would have been ever funnier. It really is a small world. Obviously, I need to get out more often.

We loved Mythos. I don't recall the price being bad at all. We even had Merlin come and visit us at our table for a bit. The kids got a kick out of that. We will be going back for lunch in May.
