Tell me about miniature golf...

We have done (and love) them all. I am not sure what I prefer, honestly. I like the walk from Swan/Dolphin, and it feels a little less crazy at Fantasia. But, W/S is fun, too.

We do a lot of non-park activities...some favorites being Splitsville, hanging out at Fort Wilderness, mini-golf, lots of swimming, Boardwalk window shopping, etc.

The courses are essentially the same at Winter-Summerland. Winter has ice sculptures and themes, and Summer is sand castles, etc. But the holes are very similar.

Another difference that may influence your decision - Winter has 50s and 60s pop Christmas music like "Santa Claus is Coming to Town" by the ROnettes and Summer is ALL Beach Boys. So if you're not a Beach Boys fan, it may get on your nerves lol.

This is a great influencer! I'm one of those people who doesn't love Christmas music past Or b4 the month of December!! I can deal with The Beach Boys!

It's a shame both locations are inconvenient to get to if you don't have a car. It's near impossible to get to them (especially at night) using Disney transportation.

From CSR you could walk to winter summer.

We love the courses at WDW and try to do one every visit. My personal favorite is Winter/Summerland. It just has more of that Disney feel to me. Last time we were there we did Fantasia, and it's fun but it's much more of a challenge. If you want easy and lighthearted try WS; if you want more of a challenge and little more sophisticated play, then Fantasia Gardens. If you go mid-day, it's usually pretty slow.

We did Winter Summerland last spring break on our check in day. Kids had a blast (ages 12, 10 & 5 at the time). We did the summer side and thought the decorations at each hole were really cute. Hoping to do winter next trip! We went mid day and had maybe a 10 minute wait to start. I remember that I commented to the attendant that 10 minutes wasn't bad and he said the wait time tends to build as the day progresses.

I would definitely plan to do it again. It was a perfect check in day - putt putt, Disney Springs, and pool time.

We are thinking about using the mini golf vouchers we got with our package. I like the look of the Winter Summerland course but knowing my kids, they will beg to go to Blizzard Beach if we go there  . We have a no-park/Disney Springs day planned. I think we will do Fantasia Gardens after dinner and then pop over to Boardwalk afterwards to walk around and get ice cream, etc.

You can take Disney transportation to Fantasia by using the bus to the Swan and walking across the street. Winter/Summer is at Blizzard Beach and when that is closed for refurb, I thought there was a bus that went there for the course? I could be mistaken on that one.

Oh, I guess I forgot to mention, it's all Beach Boys CHRISTMAS!
