Tell me about love bugs . . .

No, they are to busy....ahem....let's just say they are not called Love Bugs for nothing.

They are EXTREMELY annoying though. The air can get thick with them at times and they just fly every which way and you are constantly bobbing and weaving to avoid them.

Oh those pesky little creatures. I went to Florida in September of last year for the first time at that time of the year, so it was my first experience with them. They were everywhere!!! Well, at our resort anyway. Didn't really experience them at Disney parks :confused3

At our resort, you couldn't really lay out on the chairs at the pool and relax, they were all over you, the chairs, the tables, the outdoor bar, your food, your drinks. They didn't bite, sting or anything. I just found myself constantly shooing them away, and I stayed IN the pool when I was outside, because there were less there, and yes, some were even floating in the pool. My DH attempted to lay out in the sun, and he fell asleep, naturally, with his head tilted back and his mouth open and I was in the pool giggling because they kept flying around his mouth and he would wake up, all disgusted :rotfl:

I probably won't go again during Love Bug seasons, which are supposedly only briefly in mid May and September. Only because I want to be able to sit by the pool and relax. They really aren't bad or creepy, just extremely annoying, flying all around.
