Tell me about lifeguards, pool toys, and water rules at CBR...

Regarding the main pool at CBR ...

Are there guards?

Do they allow pool toys?

Do they provide any pool toys?

What else do they provide? PFDs for little ones? (If so, what is the littlest size?)

Are there clearly posted rules, and if there are guards, are they enforced? For example, I am a strict "walking feet" enforcement kinda mom to my own kids when at the pool. My kids may not run at the swimming pool. I feel they are a danger to themselves and others if they run. Do the Dis pools post/enforce a few key rules like this?

Finally, what are the hours for the main pool in March/April?

We stayed at CBR in 2006 and there were many many lifeguards at the pool. They have since reconfigured the pool, but I am sure there are still plenty of lifeguards around. They were very vigilant about no real roughhousing, particularly if you were going to impact other guests. Some of the kids if they were by themselves they could do it until someone wandered near them, then they had to tone it down. They let kids be kids for the most part. They were also very good at keeping kids away from the bottom of the slide or from going back up the slide. Sorry, i don't know about pfds or anything like that as we didn't need them. There weren't really any type of floats or the like in the pools. Maybe a noodle or two, but not a lot of the typical home sharks/boats/dolphin ride on type of toys. The quiet pools you might be able to use them. We were able to play with the football there, but there were no lifeguards there.

I believe rules are clearly posted around each of the pools.

Pool Hours: 10:00 AM to 10:00 PM(subject to change)
Lifeguard/Slide Hours- 10am to 8pm (subject to change)

The main pool has water falls, a slide, a kiddie pool and a spa. There are free life preservers at the pool and marina that guests may use.

The pool was open 10:00am-11:00pm when we were just there - Jan 20-27.
