We will be eating at Le Cellier for the first time this August, and I just wanted to hear some feedback. I've heard good things about it, and we're excited to try something new. I love steak, please tell me they have good steak! lol:rotfl:

Uh oh, get ready to hear it from both sides of the spectrum...I personally love this place, and as PP, stated , yes the Mushroom filet is my choice always...If on the DP, I wouldn't recommend eating there at dinner, for 2 credits, but for sure eat there for 1 credit for lunch.. We usually get a ressie for about 1 or so. It's perfect and then you can walk off what you eat & have a later dinner than normal, anywhere you want..Or just snack it up throughout the countries afterward. LoL have fun Picking...

The filet with mushroom risotto is available for both lunch and dinner and it is delicious. Dinner filet is larger and the risotto has a greater variety of mushrooms and bigger pieces.

If you're going for dinner the bone in ribeye is even better than the filet! Lots of flavor and perfectly grilled. I've subbed the mushroom risotto for the potatoes - can you tell I like the risotto. :)

How are the portion sizes different from lunch and dinner? We are having it for lunch but expect it to be a big lunch and not really have to eat a whole lot the rest of the day. I know sometimes pictures are misleading but even before they went to the 2 credits for dinner, at least to me it appeared the steaks were a little on the small side. Is it even a smaller portion at lunch? We are also going in August and our adr is for August 7th, 12:15...

We ate here for lunch in November. We were on DxDP and LOVED it! It was one of our favorite meals. DD, who was 10, turning 11 was very excited to be able to order off the "adult" menu and ordered the filet, but wasn't so sure about the risotto or the sauce that comes with. We had a great server that let her substitute the risotto for fries and put the sauce on the side for her. We didn't even ask her to do it! DH and I also ordered the filet. It was delicious! Overall, we had a great experience here, with great service. We would definitely eat here again!!

Well, I'll start by saying my DH loved his steak and the place, but agrees it wasn't his favorite place of the week. I don't see where it's worth 2 credits, but for a 1 credit, sure. I, however, loved the taste of the foods, but because I am not used to foods that rich, was a little sick afterwards. It was just too rich for me. I did not have that problem at any other TS place.
I'm not making another ADR there this time. Personally I feel like it's good to try for 1 credit, buy not 2.

We had dinner there in October and it was my favourite meal of a two week trip.

First of all, I loved the atmosphere in the restaurant - it was very easy to forget we were in the middle of a theme park. Our server was excellent, very friendly and helpful but not overwhelming the way some can be.

We paid OOP for this meal, and while it was the most expensive meal we had, it was worth every penny (I would go back there for the pretzel bread alone). We didn't have any appetizers so can't comment on those. I had the filet but I don't like mushrooms so they subbed these for some kind of potato wedges. The steak was by far the best steak I have ever had. DH had the New York strip steak (if I remember correctly) and he said the same about his.

Like a pp said, you will hear a lot of negative reviews about Le Cellier but I couldn't find one bad thing to say about it.

How are the portion sizes different from lunch and dinner?

According to the servers (on more than one occasion) Lunch filet was 5 oz, dinner filet was 8 oz.

The bone in ribeye was described as 16 oz. on the menu. I know it was definitely large.

Sorry to say, my experience was the oppositve end of the spectrum and could have been just a bad night...But my son and I both got the filet and they were both not the "melt in your mouth" type of filet that we are used to. My son stated that my own filet's on the grill were much better. My mother got a chicken dish and it was basically a baked breast of chicken, bone in. I was dying to try the cheese soup and was very disappointed; probably should not have read all of the great reviews! Our service was horrible also. We asked for water, server forgot about it, asked again when our meal came, she forgot about it, finally brought it with the bill. Service for our appetizer, meal, was also very slow. We were looking forward to relaxing, but 3.5 hours for dinner is nuts.
I would never go back for dinner again and you'd really have to convince me to try it again, for lunch. but like I said, we could have caught them on a bad night.....

We had a great experience there! Super yummy and great service! Cheese soup was awesome, and the steak was delicious!

The food was great, the wait and the length of the meal was horrible! We had a 6pm ADR and got in at 645 and it took forever. We took dessert to go because we were so full and still didn't get out until after 8. I wouldn't do a dinner again, but maybe a lunch for 1 credit. But then again, I'd probably try a different place next time!

My friend just returned and they found out that a 4pm ressie is still considered lunch (1 credit) but were given dinner menus and received dinner sized portions of everything. Of course I'm sure everyone will realize this soon and there won't be any 4pm reservations available when it's time for me to go!

Just got back from our trip, some new menu items have been added (I sent in menu pics already). I'll be doing our review in a few days, once I get some uninterrupted time. We went for lunch, hubby loved his strip steak, I loved my Korean BBQ Beef Skewers. My appetizer of the mussels was really good, and hubby was tempted to ask to kiss the chef after he had the chipotle chicken sausage over sweet polenta appetizer. He settled for asking for the recipe, the waitress took our info and said the chef mails out recipes once a month or so. I'm surprised hubby isn't asking "is it here yet, is it here yet". Desserts were good, I had a Bumbleberry cobbler (new menu item) that was quite nice - berries and apples with some strussel topping in a sweet crust served with vanilla ice cream.

DW and I just ate dinner there two weeks ago. We both had the fillet and it was excellent! We would recommend the fillet. :thumbsup2 Our reservation was for 5:15 and we were seated within 10 minutes of our arrival at 5:05. The atmosphere is pleasant dispite being busy. Overall we enjoyed our dining experience and would eat there again.
