Tell me about Kona Cafe

Kona Cafe - I was just looking at the menus for breakfast, lunch and dinner and they looked nice.

Of course I've hear about the Tonga Toast but what about other foods? Is it any good?

We had breakfast there every day of our week at the Poly last fall. Could only do Tonga Toast once--very rich and sweet. We should have shared one. If you love good coffee, the 100% Kona press pot is not to be missed.

We had very good salads there for lunch on our arrival day, and a nice dinner one evening. Sticky Wings were very tasty and my hubby lovee his salmon. I had Pan Asian Pasta--tasty, but I love Asian food and would have preferred more pronounced flavor.

Overall, we really enjoyed Kona Cafe and plan to do breakfast there in November.

We had breakfast there for Mother's Day last week. It was wonderful. The service was great. They have a very nice menu, and the food was fantastic.

The tonga toast is a definite share the plate item. Way too sweet but oh so yummy.

Wow, great photos! Thanks for posting the link, they are great and give a flavour of the restaurant. I quite fancy trying this sometime. I'm not a fan of wings, but those ones do look GOOD!

We have had dinner there(3x), breakfast(2x), and take out lunch of wings(2x) in the past 2 years. Everything has always been perfect. The food, service and atmosphere are wonderful.
We plan to have dinner there 2x and breakfast once by the end of this year. Obviously we like it.

thanks so muc h for the info on the kona cafe we are styaing at the poly for the first time Aug24, 2003. We wil be hungry from traveling from washington state to Orlando.

We love it! Have had dinner 3x and are returning in June. Salmon is great, appetizers also wonderful. DS loves choosing his dessert and having them prepare it for him at the dessert station! One of our favorites!

Have had really good breakfasts and dinner there. The crab cake appetizer were absolutely fantastic.

We love the Kona's lunch. The servers are so nice and the food is very good. Make sure you get an order of Pot Stickers they are great.
