I am throwing dates around, June 1st-8th is a good time for us. I know I went one time during spring break and it was horrible. How is june for weather and crowds??

We went this year in June 13-21 - I will say the crowds honestly weren't bad (in my opinion) but it was already pretty HOT - but not unbearable. We did parks in the morning, pool in the afternoon and parks after dinner.

We went June 6-13th a couple of years ago. I don't remember the crowds being to bad...but it was hot. It didn't help that I left my bathing suit at home.

If i am correct it is gay and lesbian week. We are going from june 3 to June 9. My wife and I have an open mind about things but it might be a consideration for other.

We went this past year - for the last week of May/start of June. The problem wasn't June - it was Memorial Day weekend. Avoid that weekend! I'd suggest getting there the tuesday after that weekend. Also, it was very hot. We had lots of water and portable fans, but it still was uncomfortable. Of course, me being 2.5 months post-partum carrying baby 100% of the time may have not helped! We still managed to have fun though! The gay day and gay days are at the start of June. I did look up the days last time when planning our trip. My thought was that some people might have a problem with it so if they were scheduled for Magic Kingdom, then that might be a good day to go there too! My FIL is not open minded and was there that week with us. We did Sea World the day it was a designated Gay Day. FIL said,"I don't see any gays around,"in surprise. I thought it was rather humorous as if he could tell just by looking at people.

*Edited to add: I forgot to mention, we heard it would likely rain while we were there so we brought ponchos. We didn't need them at all. It only rained twice while we were there - one day that we didn't go to the parks, and one day that we somehow kept managing on being at indoor attractions/restaurants while it rained. The rain never lasted long when it did rain, but it started fast.

We went in June 02...it was around the 2nd week I think. It poured every single day we were there. I mean POURED. All day long. The locals said it was the rainiest season on record...lucky us!

We made the best of it, but it was pretty miserable!

I'm hoping it's good, we're going May 25-June 2! I know that's Memorial Day weekend, but my ds graduates kindergarten on May 24, and we're leaving right aftrwards to drive down. I'm expecting it to be hot and more crowded than our last trip, but what can you do?

We did the first week of June for our honeymoon in 2004. It was hotter than heck and pretty darn crowded. I won't go in June again unless I don't have any other options. Because, hot and crowded at WDW is better then cool and lonely at home any day.

This year it was unusually hot and steamy. Unfortunately, our only other trip was in June of 2000 when we were still Illinoisans and it was miserable. We live here now and I thank goodness I work in the air conditioning! Drink plenty of fluids, bring on the sunblock, have mister fans, wear a hat and remember you are at the Happiest Place on Earth!

We've gone late June early July several times and it's hot, but you get used to it. I t does rain every day pretty much, but it's usually not very long. My DH whose really afraid of lightening..is now used to walking out in the T-storms when we're down there. It's crowded, but if you plan right it's not much of an issue.

Gay Days this year is May 31-June 2. We were at WDW June 6-13 this year. Crowds were not really a problem until our last day, when the floodgates opened up. You couldn't move at MK. It was really crazy! Weather-wise, it was really hot, we had some rain showers, and we had Tropical Storm Alberto come through. Word of advice, DON'T go to DisneyQuest or the movie theatre at Downtown Disney on a rainy day--everyone else does that, too. As long as it's not thundering and lightning, don your rain ponchos and hit the parks. The lines will be shorter, except at the more popular indoor rides, such as Mission Space and Soarin'. We were really worried that it would be busy when we went, but a lot of the school up north don't get out until mid-June. Use FastPasses and MH! Have a great trip! :sunny:

We were there this year starting June 5. It wasn't bad at all....the crowds were manageable and it wasn't too hot. We went the previous year in July and that was unbearable for us. We won't be going back in July.

We were at the World this June 18-26, and it was very hot, but certainly not unbearable. I absolutely agree that it's not an issue as long as you prepare for it. Mister fans, sunblock, appropriate comfy clothing/shoes, and hats. My kids were 5 and 6 at the time of our trip, and managed quite well.

It rained twice during our trip. Both times started really quickly and passed almost immediately.

We're planning to go again in late June (as soon as the kids are out of school for the summer).
