Tell me about January

We usually like to visit WDW in Nov/Dec but DH has had to use all his holidays at work towards his flying training so we cant go at our favorite time. We are planning to go in Jan 2009 what are the crowd levels like? Should we go early mid or late Jan? I was thinking of the 14th. Is P&P Party on all of Jan?

We went this Jan and loved it! We went 3rd-18th Jan and it was pretty quiet from the 5th onwards. Weather can be a bit unpredictible -take shorts and t shirts and jeans and hoodies. But queues etc were great got to go and on everything and only needed fastpast for a few of the rides.

Only caution would be marathon weekend as it gets really busy then-make sure your booked early! Parks are busier those days but nothing like in the summer and its fun to watch the running-it has a really nice atmosphere.

WE'D GIVE THE THUMBS UP TO JANUARY.

I'd probably go with beginning of Nov if i could but only because in my experience the whether is slightly warmer.

Jan was great though. You need to pack clothes for all weather and be prepared to change your plans and go to the water parks as an when the weather allows. Since i like to wing it anyway that suits us fine.

We were there 9-26 Jan and only really experience two busy periods. Marathon weekend (but it wasnt really that bad) and Martin Luther King Day, which was the busiest that I have ever seen - 120 mins for Safari
