My Groupon was recently offering a deal for a local dine-in movie theater. It was the same exact package/price that the theater itself offered on their website to newlsetter subscribers. But with Groupon, I'd have had to pay for it by a certain date, whereas with my theater's site, I had more time. So, like an earlier poster said, it doesn't hurt to call the place of business and ask whether they have/will still honor the deal.

DH I used Groupon to get a great discount on our tandem parasailing package from Sammy Duvall! Now I'm signed up for L.A. and Orlando, and I see a lot of great deals. I've only taken advantage of a couple, but everything has worked out perfectly with those. I think the restaurant deals are ok, but a lot of the time you can find the same deals on Restaurant.com, and with the frequent 80-90% off coupons it works out a bit better. Definitely sign up for the e-mails!

My Christmas present was a groupon for a hot stone massage - DH paid $40 for an $80. The massage is for 1 hour. And while we live in the Milwaukee area - groupon locations can be as far away as an hour or more, this particular spa is about a 10 minute drive from our house.

I am so excited about this!!!

We are watching our spending right now, so I've seen some tempting deals, since I joined groupon, I have not "bit" into any of them.

I've bought ones for a wine tasting, Nordstrom Rack, and a hair salon - and had a great experience each time. The iPhone app is really nice, so you don't even have to print the coupon.

$60 for a one hour massage and a one hour facial!! All my mommy friends got it and we have a spa day booked in Feb!
