Tell me about Garden Grove

It was fine...we were there about a month ago. Food was good. Character interaction not so good. They have 2 characters that rotate every half hour. If you are staying there I would go, if you need to make a special trip maybe not.

If you do go...restaurants.com has a really good coupon.

NOTE: We have dined at all three themed dinner buffets. They are
Seafood, Southern BBQ, and Mediterranean. We found the food quality
and taste to be well above average, but not superior. For a buffet, we
thought the price slightly high. We liked the Southern BBQ, and really
enjoyed the Seafood "Fisherman's Wharf" buffet (I am very fond of
Bouillabaisse). Overall, an acceptable buffet at WDW and not as bad
on the wallet as expected. The only thing we thought was bad was the
service. We waited long periods for dirty plates to be cleared and
drinks refilled or replenished. The table actually got crowded with plates
we were using and plates that needed to be removed.

We did the non-character dinners. We cannot comment on interaction
for the weekend character meals.

I have never been but most sites that do ratings give it very low ratings. I've never read the reviews so don't know why it gets such low ratings.

We thought the food was good and the desserts and breads were wonderful! The character interaction was good when we were there. The characters spent quite a bit of time at the tables with kids and a decent amount of time with adults. It was fairly empty when we were there. We used the restaurant.com certificate.

ITA! It is a more relaxed experience than you find at most WDW character buffet. Also, if you like Lion King, Timon & Rafiki are at this restaurant on Monday & Friday nights (this is the only character meal with these two).

Were you able to use your restaurant.com GC for character meal or just for basic dinner/bufet?

I thought characters were only at weekend breakfast, if my info incorrect?

The restaurant.com certificate is good for dinner only. Dinner has the characters.

Does the turning of the restaurant bother you while eating or is not noticeable?? :)

That is the Garden Grill in Epcot. but no that it not noticeable. I like that much better than the Garden Grove which is in the Swan.

I always get those 2 confused, why name them so similarly?
