Can someone please tell me about Fantasmic?

I've never seen it, and I'd like to know if it's appropriate for a 5 year old? She's a little nervous about dragons and they said that there is a big dragon that comes out... I'd rather not scare my daughter, so I wanted to check!

It's best to watch a video first and then decide if you would like your daughter to watch it. It takes place in a huge amphitheater and you are pretty much removed from the action:

The dragon is way across the water from where you'll be watching. Its probably a good opportunity to get her exposed to some "exciting" things in a non-threatening environment.

Very awesome. Don't ask questions or watch videos and spoil it. Just go and enjoy. It's not scary. Don't worry about sitting up close... not important.
