from your post heading i dont know if it is just your wording or if you dont understand. there is no fantasmic "dinner show". it is a regular restaurant ADR that includes a pass for fantasmic later in the evening that lets you enter from a different area and guarantees your seating which is at the far right of the stadium. they are also famous for restricting your ADR to around the 4 oclock hour and the shows are usually at 8 or 9.

That is right as the PP said, there is no "Fantasmic Dinner show". We just made an ADR for Mama Melrose for June at 4:20 and that allows us to enter in a side enterance. If I remember right you enter close to Oscars toward the front of the park. When you book it you will need to book the Fantasmic package. I think it is probably a good deal since they have limited the number of shows. The two choices are Mama Melrose and Hollywood and Vine.

This is my first trip in 20+ years. My brother is a disney vetran. We tried to book our diner and show today and they were all booked. I don't care what time the diner/show is just want to go to the show... I think... Well I do want to go but am still apprehesive abou the kids (ds4 & ds2) ... We will see in the morning...! :rolleyes1

You don't have to book the package to see the show. Fantasmic shows on different days of the week during different times of the year. If you don't want to be locked in to eating at a certain restaurant at a certain time, just plan on being in line at least 60 minutes early to get a good seat. It is a big stadium type theater, so once you're in you can get refreshments from the vendors inside and wait until the show starts.

That is true...just remember that they only show about 3 shows a week this time. Last year when we were there they showed one every night and most nights 2 shows. If you don't mind waiting in a line arm and arm than the line is not bad. I personally think the show is worth waiting in line for!:cool1:

Have they reopened the Fantasmic entrance by Oscars? I thought now everyone, including people with the Fantasmic pkg vouchers, had to enter all together through the main entrance. The vouchers just let you get there a little later and let you get into the reserved section on the right (as you enter the theater).:confused3

you sure? waiting in the same line kinda defeats the whole purpose. never heard of that.
