Tell me about Dollar

We always rent from Alamo, but since they stopped accepting the code I used 2 months ago for my confirmed rental, I can't even get into the reservation or even cancel it.

I can get a similar rental from Dollar for $140 less than what's available now. So is it worth it to switch to Dollar? I can sign up for their rewards program and skip the line I believe.

Also, is Dollar in the same garage as Alamo? We're flying SW, so I think it is?

All 10 companies with cars on site at MCO use the same garage, you just may have to go to a different part of it. I think but am not sure that Thrifty and Dollar are together all the way on the right hand side of the garage when you walk across the street, past National and Enterprise. For A and B, no idea for C.
