Tell me about Disney ON Christmas

I've been there for the Christmas festivities in the past, but dh and I are thinking we may do Disney ON Christmas this year. So have your experiences have been? How did you handle the Santa gifts? I'm going to have the kids write Santa a letter with their list telling him where we'll be. lol Any other tips?

In the past my niece would write to Santa and let him know where we were, then Santa had a few little things at the resort Xmas morning and a letter telling her that the rest of her gifts would be waiting for her by her tree at home.We also stayed the heck away from Mk on Xmas morning since it is jammed and usually closes to all guests due to capacity by like 10am.We hung around the resort all day and had a nice dinner followed by the Candlelight processional at Epcot.
