Tell me about Disney in May, Please!

Actually there are 2 weekends of grad nights... quoted from here:

Disney Grad Nite 2006 promises to be the biggest and best celebration yet! On April 28, 29 and May 5, 6 high school senior classes will gather for an exclusive, all-night party in the Magic Kingdom® Park, featuring live performances by some of the hottest performers!

We are also looking at going the last two weeks of May. I am hopeful of small crowds.

We were there the first week of May this year.
Temps ranged from upper 70's (perfect) to about 90 (too hot for me).
We had some sunny days, some cloudy days, and a bit of rain. Twice, there were heavy downpours. Once around 9pm and once around 11pm. Otherwise, just a little light rain on a couple of afternoons.
So basically a big mix of unpredictable weather.

It was our first trip, so I can't compare crowd levels.
We used Tour Guide Mike to plan our days and the longest we waited on any attraction was about 10 minutes. The longest waits we saw posted were probably 45 minutes in mid-afternoon on the headliners. The only exception was Soarin, which had 90 minute waits, but we were at Epcot the day after Soarin officially opened, so everyone wanted to ride it.

Actually, the HOTTEST I've ever been was in May of '03. during a heat wave that was predictted to last two weeks. Sine then, we've been in June and July and they were both cool compared to that May trip. Haven't done August yet, that'll be next year.

We were also at WDW that time and agree, it was very very hot. So hot for us, we decided never to go again in May since it was also very hot the year earlier (May 2002).

The crowds were very managable.
