Tell me about Dinosaur...

I have been on it several times. Took 4 year old granddaughter, and she loved it. That being said, I think it is very jerky. If you have a bad back, I would not do it. I will only go on it if the grandkids insist. Grandma aims to please! Really just very rough ride, not scary or to dark, just rough.

My very brave (then 5 year old) hated it. Had nightmares for days after it. But we did get stuck under a huge dinosaur when the ride stopped for some reason or other, and he just screamed and screamed "Its gonna eat us!!!! I'ts gonna eat us!!!"
Poor kiddo, I felt soooo bad.
It makes me want to go hug him right now! (And he's 17 now) LOL.

:rotfl2::rotfl2::rotfl: this is too funny..

I was 20 the first time I rode it, and I had a death grip on my mom's arm the entire time (and she was hanging on to me for dear life, too). After riding it a few times there's no problem, but yeah, it's definitely not Small World. But I do love it, it's one of the few rides I try to ride every time I go. Even at a 30 min wait, it's all inside in A/C, so that's not bad.

I took my 5 y/o on it 10 years ago now, and it scared the pants off him! Now, he was never the bravest soul, but it truly is loud and jerky and dark. He finally worked up the "courage" to ride it last summer for the 2nd time. I was afraid I'd scarred him for life the first time!

I'll also put myself in the pro Indy camp. I've never been fond of Dinosaur myself, but knowing that the vehicles/track are the same in California makes me sick. I love both dinosaurs and Indy, but the ride just "feels" so much bigger and better in DL. It's still super shaky, but the effects are mind-blowing on Indy. The queue is pretty awesome too :)

It's one of our favorite attractions in WDW. Not even kidding, we rode this one at least 8 times during our trip last year, my mom was having so much fun.

I'm pretty scared of rides/things popping out at you and am small so was worried about the motion of the ride and how people have said it's really rocky. That being said, I rode it anyway and loved it! Front row - the rest of my family was scared and I wasn't :rotfl: I would try it at least once!
