Antiperspirants do not cause breast cancer.
If you have perspiration, you may want to try a prescription one called Drysol. It is much better - you put it on before bed as well. I have used both, and the Drysol is a liquid (dabber, but I put it on a cotton ball and dab). The active ingredient is the same, but the Drysol is much much better!
You do shower it off in the morning, and maybe once or twice a week is enough. Also, I do make sure to not shave right before or after using.
Please, don't read the urban myths about breast cancer and deodorants or antiperspirants. They are such hooey.
Urban myth? Not quite. They may not CAUSE it, but they can aggravate it or contribute. Please don't be so sure that it doesn't- I used to have the same attitude as you, but have changed drastically in the past few years. They have found parabens in breast cancer cells, and I don't see how anyone can think that aluminum can be perfectly okay in the body- all heavy metals can certainly contribute to problems. Especially when they're being used to block the body from a "toxin releasing mechanism"- sweat. Any aluminum/parabens that you absorb (especially if you've just shaved, for example) then gets "trapped" in your body...near your breast. It all makes sense to me.
It's insulting to me (and others, I'm sure) that you say it's "hooey", as it's certainly a sensitive subject for me these days.
