Tell me about Christmas Dinner with Chef Mickey

We couldn't get brunch with Chef Mickey on Christmas Day (That's ok because we got breakfast with him on Dec. 15th before MVMCP) We did however get Christmas night dinner with Chef Mickey!

I have never had dinner at Chef Mickey's. Is Christmas Day dinner different then other nights. How is the dinner foods and character interactions?

Tell me the good, bad and ugly!!!!

Where is everyone eating Christmas Day at Disney?

OMG! Christmas dining is already full!?
We arrive on Christmas Day so we can't make our ADR's until 9/25.
I am hoping to get Whispering Canyon at WL. This is my DH's favorite restaurant and I am trying to avoid dinner in one of the parks in case they are filled to capacity by time we get there.

I called at exactly 8 am this morning. Got right on without waiting. All that was left was 7:45 pm. I have a party of four. I even ask for party of two.....7:45 pm was all I could get and I grabbed it....
