Never been to Captain's Grille before. I know its being renovated and temporarily in Ariel's. Has anyone eaten there in the temporary location? How is the food?

The food at Captain's Grille is good, but I've never dined at their temporary location.

I'm hoping to hear good things. We have a reservation for dinner. It has been on my bucket list for the last 3 trips and I haven't been able to work it in.

We haven't eaten in the temporary location, but we've eaten there several times as recently as this past January. Food and service are always very good!

We haven't dined there in awhile... I remember we liked it for breakfast. It was nice there was a restaurant we could walk into without an ADR!

I haven't been to the temporary location, but Captain's Grille is one of our favorites. Our first time here was totally unplanned and we just needed something close to our resort after ditching our park plans due to weather. All three adults agreed it was our best meal that trip. I had a pork dish and the pork was melt in your mouth tender and delicious. My MIL had some homemade ravioli special and DH had some sort of beef stroganoff type of dish (also a special) and they raved about both. Service is good and chefs were great with my kids' food allergies. It's been the only place that offered my boys something other than carrots or broccoli for their veggies and my son was so excited to have roasted brussel sprouts for a change.

Captains G is my son's absolute favorite. We ate thee last week in Arielle's, which s lovely. The menu has undergone a change, so DS favorite steak, and my crab legs were a no go. He settled on Prime rib, which was roughly the size of a cow. He named it as is favorite meal. I had wonderful crab cakes. Will have to review pictures to see what we all had, but all eight of us (6 adults, 2 children) were very satisfied.

Has anyone been to breakfast in the temporary location? There is no buffet but wondering if it's worth checking out Ariels?
