Tell me about Cape Mays Character Breakfast!

DS wants to go there for his B-day bkfst to see Pluto....we have never been to the Boardwalk area so I am very excited to be doing so. Anyone have any experiences to share?

Pluto doesn't appear at Cape May Cafe, unless the characters have recently changed. The characters that are scheduled to appear are Goofy, Chip, Dale, and Minnie in the lobby. Pluto appears at Donald's Breakfast at the AK, dinner at LIberty Tree Tavern in the MK and sometimes for breakfast at Chef Mickeys. If you're really wanting to see Pluto, I'd plan on attending one of those.

We spent our last morning at Cape May Cafe for breakfast and loved it. We have been going to WDW for the past 10 years but this is the first time we did a Character breakfast and we loved it!!

The characters were Goofy, Chip and Dale, and Minnie. Our server told us that Minnie is not always there - so another character could be there at some times.

Food was great - typical buffet fare. We liked the mickey waffles the best and had lots of them. You can check out the menu on www.wdwig.com if you want more details.

Great experience for all of us, even DD's (13 and 11).

We ate there this past December, the characters were great, very good interaction. But Pluto was not there, just Goofy and Chip and Dale and Minnie was out front greating everyone.
The food was excellent, we really enjoyed it.

We were there last week and enjoyed it. Good variety of food and it was hot and fresh. Excellent character interaction,they came to the table multiple times and were not rushed like some other places.

No Pluto?!? When I called I was specific about his appearance and was told he does! I believe you guys...we wil switch...as much as I think we would enjoy it, Pluto is the main objective! We will just have to go to the Boardwalk for pleasure! Looks like AK or MK, they are both easier to get to from CBR anyway...Thank you everyone for the quick responses and saving the day!
