We are going to a convention but I have a ton of time.

We will be in Henrietta and then onto Atlanta the 3rd-5th of December.

We are going to the Coca-cola Museum and the CNN building for sure.

I will be looking for scrapbooking supplies as well but I want to see the main sites too.

Are all areas safe? Would you stay downtown or in the burbs?

Thanks for any and all help.

The World of Coke is awesome! If you're going there anyway, you should visit the Georgia Aquarium as well. It's literally right next door. We stayed very near there and didn't feel unsafe at all.

If you like natural history, the Fernbank Museum is very interesting. We were planning to do that and several other things, and the kids ended up engrossed in the exhibits and we spent 5 hours there.

If theme parks are more your speed, there is Six Flags. Stone Mountain isn't far either.

Do you mean Marietta?

If you are interested in visiting stuff in town (World of Coke, Aquarium) then staying nearby is the way to go.

Stone Mountain is really fun, but it is outside of town a bit. They have some nice hotels on property, though.
