Tell me about 1900 PF

I'm thinking about adding in a dinner at 1900 PF. Are the characters (especially the step sisters) only there during dinner? Or can we see them during lunch?

They don't serve lunch there. The stepsisters are only there at dinner. Breakfast has Mary Poppins, Pooh, Tigger, Alice and the Mad Hatter.

1900 Park Faire buffet dinner is pretty good (noisy though), but the real fun here is the characters. You get to meet Cinderella and her Prince, which I believe is a must for a Disney vacation (Cinderella at least - the prince is just a filler character ), but the stepsisters and stepmother are absolutely hilarious! If you intend to go specifically for the characters, and want to see them all, expect at least an hour for the whole rotation, but occasionally they'll break to dance and this will add some more time to that.

I know a lot of people want to eat at the Castle in MK, and that is fun, but this is a great alternative.

I had so much fun at 1900 PF (dinner). The stepsisters are HILARIOUS!! Im glad i went. The ambiance is lovely too. however, I was very disappointed with the food. They didnt have a good selection at all when we were there. I wondered if there was a food shortage. Lol. But the only 2 or 3 items i did enjoy were quite tasty. I think its worth checking out at least once.

We went two years ago for dinner and the character interaction was great. I traveled with two twenty-something girls and their reaction to Prince Charming was priceless; they were speechless. He asked us where we traveled from and we said Delaware. He commented that must have been a long carriage ride. We said, no it only took us about 2-1/2 hours. He said we must have ridden the new magic carpets he had been hearing about...

Cinderella asked where our princes were and then reminded us to be home before midnight.

The evil stepmother did quite a number on the little girl at the table next to us, dressed as Cindy. She had her "dust" both of her shoes with a napkin, just like she makes Cinderella do every night. The little girl was just amazed.

We had the most fun with the stepsisters. They stayed with us for quite awhile longer than the others did. Drizella commented on how much she loved my green eye shadow; said it matched her eye shadow and was her favorite color, because it was the color of money. Anastasia asked someone for a pen, because the child at the next table had lost his; so I gave her mine and she thanked me for being cordial and well prepared. When I asked for it back, she huffed at me and left it on the table. They were true to character.

All in all, made us forget how bland the food was overall.

We had the BEST time there when we went two years ago. My twins were in their BBB outfits, and my son Pirates league. The stepsisters met my daughters in MK and played with them for about 20 minutes, so they knew them when we saw them at the table. The four of them were twirling in their dresses in the middle of the restaurant.

I sooo wanted a picture of my MIL with lady Trumaine, but my MIL wouldn't have any part of it.
