televised Christmas parade at MK

We will be at Disney the week of Christmas. Is the parade which is televised from DisneyWorld actually held on Christmas morning or is it taped from an earlier date and aired on Christmas? We would love to see it in person -- just need to know when to show up! Thanks!

It is taped prior to Christmas. Regis and Kelley were there one of the days last week taping their piece and some of the parade was taped as well.

there was stuff floating around on the boards that it was taped something like Dec. 6

i never knew they taped it early but i guess not... thats pretty early if you ask me. I guess they tape it early in case of weather and other un-foreseen events.

They were doing taping on 12/5 too. My kids got a kick out of how they taped a crowd of bystanders on mainstreet look like they were cheering for the parade when it wasn't even taking place at that moment.

For me it is on 10am-12pm on Friday on my ABC affiliate, it's called Disney Parks Unforgettable Christmas Celebration.

I suspect a lot of it is from the threads that show up at the bottom of the page - those are often old threads.

I was super confused when I read the taping was Decemeber 6th, as I was there November 10th and 11th during some of the taping for this year (x Mine is called Disney Parks on my tv for some reason but it's on 10 am on ABC so assuming that is it
