Thats right I just spent the better part of the morning baking, I made banana muffins and chocolate chip cookies. :teeth:

I just love to bake and I like to cook too. :goodvibes

If so...can i have the recipie...im looking for a good "choc. chip cookie recipie"

all mine end up yucky!
 
I am sorry Chuck, the pecan pie will be made for Christmas, you'll just have to hold on a couple of more days.




belle_of_the_ball, yes I make them from scratch. I use the recipe on the back of the Hershey chocolate chip bag.

Great Wolf Lodge... that is close, isn't it. Sunday, Monday, and Tuesday nights....

Oh, and actually I can't even eat pecan pie anymore.... too many carbs! :teeth:

Hershey's Milk Chocolate Chip Cookies

1 cup (2 sticks) butter, softened
3/4 cup granulated sugar
3/4 cup packed light brown sugar
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
2 eggs
2 1/4 cups all-purpose flour
1 teaspoon baking soda
1/2 teaspoon salt
2 cups (11.5-oz. pkg.) Hershey's Milk Chocolate Chips
1 cup chopped nuts (optional)

Heat oven to 375ºF. Beat butter, granulated sugar, brown sugar and vanilla in large bowl with mixer until creamy. Add eggs; beat well. Stir together flour, baking soda and salt; gradually add to butter mixture, beating until well blended. Stir in chocolate chips and nuts, if desired. Drop by teaspoons onto ungreased cookie sheet. Bake 8 to 10 minutes or until lightly browned. Cool slightly; remove from cookie sheet to wire rack. Cool completely.
About 5 dozen cookies.

It's about 20 miles from me. I know what you mean about carbs.

Go ahead and have a small sliver. The nuts are heart healthy. I know the rest of the stuff in the pie isn't, but I always justify it with the nuts. :rotfl:

We cheat, we make no bake key lime.
 
I really love to bake also. I'm really looking forward to making our holiday cookies with my 7yr old DD :flower:
